Mr. Large has assisted me before with servicing my vehicle and once again was very thorough with his explanation of the work the mechanic provided to my car. Although I went in for simple oil change; upon running a diagnostic on my car; I learned about an important issue that needed to be addressed with my car.
Mr. Large in addition to providing a thorough analysis of the matter with my car, he also discussed potential options available to me to attending to said matter & noted timeframes that would be important for me to pay attention to regarding said matter.
I appreciate Mr. Large being upfront about matters regarding my car as this enabled me to make a well-informed decision about how best to proceed. I appreciated Mr. Large not applying any pressure to make a particular decision. I appreciated his being well prepared to answer my questions and being very professional.
I’d made an appointment online several days earlier for an oil change for my 2013 Hyundai Sonata, which I’d done before. He asked me right off why I was using a Honda dealership instead of the Hyundai dealership, so I mentioned the email coupon I had for 3 oil changes—each one less than the previous one, and that I’d used it before, to which he replied that it shouldn’t have happened! There is nothing in the fine print about it being good only for Hondas, and no one had even mentioned it on the other 2 visits! Then he told me that I’d probably have a longer wait since the oil filter for a Hyundai probably wasn’t in stock! He made me feel like an unwanted step child! Then when it was done, I thanked him but he never said anything! Frankly, I think treating a customer in that way is quite rude! We do have a Honda van that we have brought to you for service, so it’s not like we have only a Hyundai! I hope other customers get better treatment than I got!
