My dissatisfaction has nothing to do with AJ the service representative. I believe she did what she could to satisfy my concerns. The reason for my dissatisfaction is the discrepancy between what I was quoted for an estimate over the phone 2 days prior to my visit, and the cost quoted on arrival.
When I initially called to get an estimate, I asked specific questions, took notes, and confirmed the details before hanging up. I was quoted $1,100 for the timing belt and water pump (inclusive of labor and parts), $320 for the tensioner, and a complimentary loaner car. At arrival, I was quoted over $2,000. I explained the discrepancy to AJ who said the best she could do was $1650 (still $230 over the estimate I was quoted). I asked if there was someone else I could speak with regarding the price difference and she said no. Ultimately I chose to have the work done because I had the day off and was already there.
On checkout, my bill once again was higher than expected. A light bulb quoted in my inspection report for $0.00 was charged to me for over $60. I pointed this out to AJ who promptly took care of it. While the service I received was friendly and prompt, having to haggle over a price I was previously quoted (which was the main reason I chose to bring my vehicle here), and then having to correct a mistake in the final bill has left me feeling unsatisfied and hesitant about using your dealership in the future.
