Truck broke down while moving after being told it was fixed, while wife was driving with kids, sudden transmission downshift. Had to get it towed back in. Understand that not everything is an easy fix, but this was pretty dangerous, and needs to be fixed.

Darren is a great service associate to work with. He is knowledgeable, resourceful, and respectful of me and my Tacoma vehicle. Handy Toyota has a wonderful asset and should consider Darren for future promotions within the service department.

I had a genuinely positive experience here from start to finish. The staff were professional, friendly, and refreshingly real. It was a pleasure working with people who clearly have strong customer service skills and who also know how to be human, not robotic. There was an error in my original estimate that ultimately worked in my favor. The quote I received for brake work did not include the cost of parts, and I was only charged for labor. Something we didn't notice until after I paid. I deeply appreciated that the team honored the original estimate without hesitation. That kind of integrity matters. I also want to note how supportive they were in helping me navigate Toyota’s system to file for reimbursement related to a recall repair I had previously paid for. That extra guidance made a frustrating process far easier. Overall, this was thoughtful, honest service, and I would absolutely return and recommend them to others.

Check in and out was not as friendly as in the past. It also seems that if a code doesn't come up for a client's concern, there is no problem. Just disappointed.

I brought my car in last October after failing a vehicle inspection for front right tie rod issues. Your techs insisted that there were no issues with the tie rod and sent me back to the first shop with a multi-point inspection sheet saying “no issues”. The shop once again failed my vehicle and insisted that the tie rod was unsafe. At that time, the mechanic at the shop even called Handy to speak with a tech, and they were reassured that the tie rod was fine. I then returned to Handy and was told that if I paid for an inspection through the dealership, they would sign off on my car and give me a sticker that day. I did. Monday, January 12th, I brought my car back to Handy for an oil change and undercoating. I received an inspection report stating that the same front right tie rod was unsafe, and it should be replaced immediately (only 3k miles had passed since you had signed off saying there was no issue and charging me for an inspection saying so). I was told me car was no safe to drive, even though I had been driving it for months. I picked up my car, had it taken to Heritage Toyota, and paid for a rental out of pocket. I will not be returning to this dealership.
