Just really weird how I had to go to parts, then back to service where I originally started, then call and talk to someone in a different department to set up an appointment and still didn't get everything done I wanted. It was more of a hassle than a convenience. Too many hands in the cookie jar if you ask me. Had service looked at my car prior to getting any parts or labor quotes, you guys probably would've got it right. But that didn't happen, which in results is going to cost me more time, and the reason why I'll just go to a mechanic shop and get the rest of my repairs and maintenance completed.
I arrived 10 to 15 minutes early for my 1pm appointment. I was told it would take a hour to a hour and 20 minutes. At 3:15pm I went into the service department and asked them to check on my vehicle. I was told it just finished and they just received the paperwork. There is no reason it should take 2 hours and 15 minutes to perform an oil change and tire rotation. After I left I called and left a voice mail for the service manager to call me. I have not yet received a call. I work for General Motors and a friend talked me into getting a Toyota from your dealership. The salesman was nice and professional. However, shortly after buying my vehicle the motor for the back window broke and my window would not roll up so I had to bring it in the be repaired. When I had my 5k service done it again seemed to take longer than I was informed it would. Maybe I made a mistake buying a Toyota and should have stayed with a General Motors product and dealership service department.
Scott is one of the reasons I keep coming back for service at the dealership. He is very knowledgeable of the Toyota family of vehicles and his personality is outstanding. Thank you for having a fine service writer as him. This is my first Toyota vehicle. It was used and service is very very important for my peace of mind.
