I was told the car was ready and when I asked about the status of the AC problem, it hadn’t been done had to be reassessed and it needed Freon

Thank you for requesting my feedback. The diagnosis were general and not specific. To date, I requested from the service advisor to talk to the tech mechanic to no avail. Chasing both their time for a simple return call after many attempted request. Furthermore, the advisor was challenged getting the detail reports online. He claimed, it's being updated. I have my reservation, without any negative backlash. In today's technology and competition, there many means of way in communication. The key to loyal customer's heart and satisfaction that can lead to positive referrals for more clients is open communication, understanding and mutual respect of their time. My advisor got rude with me when I told him my car was still under warranty, they also didn’t replace a hose they said they were going to replace.
Jesus was fine. The mechanic (tech) was not. I brought my own supplies for an oil change: oil and filter. The tech changed my oil and then somehow threw out the genuine oil filter that I provided. So he did not change my oil filter. I do not understand how this can happen. He did not have to compare my filter or anything to the one that was on vehicle or compare it to a new D3 filter (my 4Runner has a V8). No one asked him to do that. I just simply requested an oil change with my supplies. Very simple. I provided a Japanese B5 filter (predecessor to the D3). Maybe he was unfamiliar or didn’t care and threw it away. This makes no sense. How does the dealer perform an oil change and not change the filter? Even if he was confused, he should have put on a new D3 filter and return my B5 filter back to me. But after I almost made it home and checked the work when I stopped at a gas station, I discovered the old filter still on my vehicle, which was a D3 and my B5 nowhere in sight. This is terrible and makes no sense. Had I not checked, any other customer would have just been treated like this with no explanation.
