Your staff was honest and friendly and offered a discount without me asking assuming cause I was active duty military. If I’m ever in the Whittier area again I would definitely bring my Tundra back for maintenance service

I don’t want to be contacted about this. I’ve been going to Whittier Toyota since 2019. I’ve purchased two cars from this location and get my maintenance here regularly. Today I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Received a notification that my car was ready. Went to pay for my stuff, everything was fine. The man helping me was great. I went out to wait for my car and it was taking an abnormal amount of time. I started looking around for my car and saw it lifted up with the left front tire off. The kid working outside started apologizing to me and he stated that my car was mixed up with another car (same car) that was supposed to be serviced and the tech was currently putting it back together to bring my car out. I asked him to get me a supervisor to speak to. He tells me everyone is in a meeting and I can talk to the original guy who was helping me. I saw that guy go out for his lunch and I told him he wasn’t there to help me and I wanted a supervisor. The kid told me they are all in a meeting and no one could help me and that I can talk to another rep about it. So I went inside and talked to the guy at the desk. He apologized and immediately went to grab a manager in the office. The manager was very apologetic and trying to make right of the situation. I just cannot comprehend how something like this can Happen. Are there no checks and balances there to verify the right car is being worked on? How does something like this happen at a place like this? I didn’t know what the guy did to my car, I saw a tire off in a machine (I just purchased new tires not even a month ago) and my hood open. It might not be a big deal to you guys but seeing that happen was very upsetting to me. Just completely being unaware of what was happening to my car and will it affect my car in the future? The manager told me that one tire was “balanced” okay is that going to throw something off by only having one tire balanced? And why was the hood open? I don’t know. Also after all that drama, the guy who was working on my car left my two left tires completely dirty and they had some type of chunky lubricant all over them. So not only did he not confirm the right car but he was just going to hand over my car with tires all dirty and gross from whatever he did. Due to this happening I will not be back to Whittier Toyota. I am writing this in hopes of shining a light on your checks and balance system to confirm the right car. I hope this doesn’t happen in the future to someone else.

Gustavo had very good mannerisms towards me and was had a superb attitude!!! The mechanic who did the video update on my car after service had a great attitude and I appreciated them two and overall service and what Toyota Whittier provides! I love coming here for service!
