The car was supposed to be cleaned when I picked it up. It was unwashed. The tire kit was not put away correctly but left in the back storage area above the folded seats. The battery was not covered properly and the plastic cover that was supposed to be on the battery positive was in the space next to the battery. I have pictures.

I dropped my car off on Saturday and never received a call that day about status. I had to call myself on Monday at 1:00 and I was told a tech was barely test driving my car and I would get a call back with status. At 4:00 I still had not received a call so my husband called and was told we can't replicate the noises your car is making it is in the wash bin you can come pick it up. When I went to pick it up no one asked if I had any questions, no one explained anything I was just handed my keys and that was it. Worst customer service ever!!

I brought my car in at 10:45am with a screw in the tire on Sat 07/05/25. I recently purchased a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy. Michael came out to inspect where the screw was, he had me back up, he confirmed he saw it and brought me inside to give me paperwork. He said it would be able to be fixed by patching it seeing that the screw was in the center of the tire. Michael said my car would be ready within 2 hours. At around the 2.5 hour mark I called to check the status, someone told me they were beginning the patch work, that my car would be finished and put through the wash soon. Within another 15 mins I got another call (I forget from whom) but the male attendant who called said he had “bad news”. He told me they would not be able to work on my tire as Hyundai has a policy to not patch the specific tire I have (the Pirelli Scorpion tires that Hyundai sells the Calligraphy’s with) due to liability issues. I was frustrated to hear that, how did Michael not have that information for me upon pulling up when he saw the tires I have as this is a company-wide Hyundai policy. 3 hours were lost, tire still not patched and all the attendant had to say was “I guess you can take it to a local mom and pop tire shop.” He did not have a specific business to send me to which I thought would be helpful seeing that your company sells tires to customers that you refuse to work on. I called the Ontario Hyundai dealer I bought my car from and they confirmed the information that they do not patch the Calligraphy tires Hyundai sells these cars with. At the very least, they were able to give me an exact tire repair shop name, number and address. In this particular case, I am very disappointed with Hyundai Cardinale’s service department.
