My boy Evan Collins got me in and out of the dealership real quick and provided a thorough inspection.
Anderson Toyota left my oil cap off several weeks ago when they had done an oil change service for my truck. My husband and I were unknowingly driving around like that for several weeks, and took it in because we heard a tapping noise, still unaware of the cap being not present until their mechanic opened the hood with us there.
Jennifer was not interested in hearing my concerns about our truck. She was only interested in bullying me into listening to what she wanted me to hear. She ended up yelling at me, and at one point, actually pointed her finger toward the cashier station in a fit of rage and yelled at me, “Go return your rental car right now!” I have never seen anything like this at a car dealership before.
Previous to that, she called me to tell me that she had heard a “clunking noise” in the truck when she drove it to the back parking lot to await service. I called her back and asked her to not do any work on the truck regarding that problem, and furthermore, to stop all diagnostic work related to that issue. Instead, completely disregarding what I said, she left me a message later that day that they had found no problem regarding that issue when they checked into it.
When I mentioned that to her, she had no pertinent reply, but loudly demanded several times, “Why did you bring the car here? Fro me to help you, right?”
She told me I was no longer welcome at the dealership and she would no longer help me.
I have had a relationship with Anderson Toyota for over two years and have bought two new Tacomas from them. I own a 2015 Tundra and an older RAV 4 as well, being a passionate Toyota fan. I have spent many thousands of dollars there in service and parts. I have dealt with Todd, Rosie, Lacey, Wade, to name a few and have never had any issue with any of them. Now the culture of the service writers seems to have changed for the worse. I used to enjoy going there, but now I dread it. Anyway, that is a moot point now since Jennifer told me to go somewhere else in the future.
Obviously, I didn’t need to be told that. I would not want to put myself or my husband through this again. I would like to know who to speak to in order to get a refund for the remainder of a maintenance service package she sold me a few months back. It is now useless to me because the next nearest Toyota dealership is over 100 miles away from me. If someone could call me to let me know who to call to arrange that, I would appreciate it.

Friendly staff. Quick in and out service.
Seamless repairs. Took care of a misunderstanding without hesitation. My only concerns are with the technicians. Oil level was only 1/2 way up the dipstick notches with hot oil so I added half litre. No caps on valve stems? Was not washed.

It may have been a busy day and my rep may having been helping cover for others, but I was there for 2 hours for just my regular maintenance and never had anyone check in or update me. The text message with the inspection report is nice if it is in addition to, not to replace, the customer service that we've appreciated at Toyota Anderson in the past.
You need to expand your buildings to offer a more fuller satisfying experience their. You have people waiting for hrs.
