First of all, the text message I received from Lexus of Valencia said my appointment was with Ali, when I usually had David as my service adviser. OK no problem. When I arrived at Lexus of Valencia, I checked my car with the attendant at the driveway where he took down my information regarding my appointment. A gentleman in a dressy blazer then approached me and ask if I was being helped. I told him that my appointment was set up to meet with Ali. He said that he was Ali but he would get me an adviser to help me. That then was obvious that Ali was the manager. I told him that David was the adviser I saw in the past. Ali was happy to hear that and then had me talk with Jake. Jake took down my request for my service visit and I left for home. My appointment was for 10 am for oil change and tire rotation. At 2 pm I called his direct line and ask him for an update on my car. While the call was ringing I received a text message informing me that Jake was on another call and he would call me later. At 2:30 I started getting concerned about the length of time my car was at the dealership. I called the main number and asked the operator to connect me to Jake's number. I left a message for Jake to call me back. At 3 pm I called David's direct line and explained to him what I was going through when I dropped off my car and now I was waiting for a call back from Jake. David told me that next time I need to make an appointment, to call him. David then said he would notify Jake that I was waiting for Jake to call me back. At 3:19 pm I finally received a text message saying that my car was ready. I also received along with the multi-point report, and invoice for the work done to the car. I have a prepaid maintenance plan which covers the work done to my car and I found this invoice to be incorrect. I went to see Jake to pick up my car. I asked Jake if the dealership had gone through a new accounting format. I don't appreciate his answer. He asked if I was an accountant. I told him that in the past I always received a zero balance paperwork due to the prepaid maintenance plan I have and I found the invoice to be incorrect. He explained that the insurance was going to pay the invoice. That's all he had to say. No need to ask if I was an accountant. I then asked him about the recommended work needed that was listed. A wheel alignment? My car only has less than 19K miles. He said it is recommended every 15K miles. What? I have never heard of any vehicle needing this that frequently. And then I asked him about the second item needing attention. Mounting and balance of 4 tires. He checked the mechanics notes, which I didn't see. The mechanic said the 4 tires needed replacement. What? Again, the car has less than 18K miles. What kind of product is Lexus selling that alignments are needed every 15K miles and tires wear out before 20K miles? I went home and did the penny test on my tires and I could NOT see the top of Lincoln's head. Shame on you for trying to sell me tires I don't need and the chaotic service I received in this visit. As soon as my prepaid maintenance plan expires, I will not have your dealership work on my car.

David responded to my unplanned visit - my check engine light was on. He immediately arranged for a loaner vehicle and stated that they would put my car through diagnostic checks. I was able to proceed with my scheduled appointment and I really appreciated how quickly the problem was addressed.

Very poor customer service. My concerns were not taken care of. The service manager Ali was very disrespectful & only kept pushing his word forward without listening to the customer & the frustration the customer is in after dealing with all the problems my vehicle has. Horrible people. Horrible service. Horrible communication. To put the cherry on top extremely unprofessional. Extremely disappointing service.
David is one of a kind gem. I am moving out of state and am sad to leave as his service was always great. He always kept me informed on my cars needs, status and even if some things could wait a tad longer if a service was getting pricy. I will definitely miss him, he’s the best!! Thank you for years of outstanding service, David!

Jesse was so helpful when I went to the service department even without an appointment. I also asked for a quote for my damaged windshield and he got me the quote so quick.
