I find my business is not important to akins and have only continued coming there due to my warranty. Over the last few years the quality of service and my confidence in akins has remained at an all time low. Unfortunately like so many businesses, with your company growth and increase in customer base, you have lost the personality and commitment many of us thought was worth the trip.

You fixed the problem perfectly. Unfortunately, communication was poor. I dropped my truck off Wednesday evening for a Thursday am appointment and did not hear from you Thursday or Friday. I called Saturday morning and was told someone would call me back. I called again at 1:30 or so and was told the service department was closed for the weekend. Fussed to a sales manager and he had the service manager finally call at about 4:30. Couldn’t tell me anything but that he would call back Monday. Very unsatisfactory.

Chris was very helpful, and open about the likely “serviceability” of my 2015 Edge (350k+ miles), should I choose to proceed with various repairs. Including that a transmission replacement would be likely in the not too distant future. He did not push me toward any particular action, and fully discussed my options. I will likely talk with Akins staff about purchasing a new or used vehicle, and rely on Chris for future servicing of the vehicle.
