the service received today was excellent. Toby is genuinely friendly and efficient.
I am very unhappy with my recent service at Vatland. Back in late June I retuned home from 3 months away to find my car had been infested with rats and wouldn’t start. I had my car towed to Vatland. Two weeks and $4,000 later they had it fixed and running. Yesterday I went in for an oil change and my service manger came out and said they found another old rat nest in my a/c unit. There was rat skeleton in it so it was not a new nest. My right rear turning signal was also out and a bulb did not fix it. I’ve noticed the right signal in the car goes reallly fast for a right turn since I picked it up from the original service but didn’t realize the light was out. I was told a new bulb didn’t fix the issue so it might be more rat damage. $105 out of pocket to go home with that issue not resolved and I go back Monday for another diagnostic, $125 to start. If another electrical harness issue could be in the thousands again. I am very upset. Why did they NOT check out my ENTIRE car the first time to make sure everything was right? They had my my car for two weeks and I had to rent a car and pay for Ubers. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and this is brutal that I may have to go through all that again. I am thoroughly disappointed with the half **** (excuse my language but I am upset) way my car was treated after I bought the car there and have always serviced it there. My loyalty has been dealt a serious blow. I hope there is some way to do something to help me with this issue. I don’t expect a freebie but I do feel this should have been addressed at the orignal service. The manager did his job but offered me no solutions other than just pay up. I really am disheartened that this is where my 9 year relationship with Vatland Honda has come.

Unfortunately, my service appointment did not meet my expectations. I felt like I could’ve been kept up to date on how long it would take, I was not advised that it was covered by my warranty at the time I was told I need to have the service done. I was told the mechanic took my car for a test drive after changing my valve cover gasket but as soon as I drove off the check engine light came on indicating a leak in the vacuum system. Had to bring it back to get fixed correctly. Ask for price on new battery but was not provided.
