As usual, everyone in the service department was perfectly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The service was completed well before the estimated time, which is always a good thing. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
This is the second time I’ve had a negative experience at this Toyota dealership. I went in today to have a free check up. While doing the check up they said they found other problems. They called me to tell me about the problems they found. I told them I didn’t want them to do anything about these identified problems because I have my car service elsewhere. They said I agreed to have them make the repairs. I realize it’s my word against theirs, but the bill came to $700. I paid it but I never told them to work on my car.
Izabella was very helpful. As was Alexis who helped afterwards with CarPlay issues. Both employees are a credit to the Toyota team.

Just had one concern regarding 2nd row middle seat. It makes the set bealt noise although after passenger leaves the car. Which I guess need to schedule a different appointment for that.

I had an appointment for 7:30am on 3 Jan. I was told the work on my vehicle would be completed by 10:30 and I would receive a phone call when the work was complete. By 4pm I still had not heard from the dealership so I called. I was told to check back in an hour. I called back in an hour and I was told that my work order had been misplaced. This was a huge inconvenience to us and meant that my wife was unable to attend my son's soccer game.
My second interaction with Nic was another positive, pleasant one.
Yes it was great and customer service
The overall experience was not great. When I got my car back the front desk told me that service marked my cabin air filter as a red (in bad shape). After asking what that meant and why they didn’t replace it he told me he wasn’t sure and that they usually send him a photo if it’s really bad. I asked him if they could replace it but he said since the service was completed I had to go over to the parts counter to purchase one and then he could come out and install it for me. This caused me to wait around for extra time as he was helping other customers. It was indeed very dirty.
I also asked about the punch card I have on my keys for oil changes and if they still do that and he told me they don’t but it would get me 30% off the one of the maintenance packages. When I asked him if I could do that he told me it was too late since everything has already been written up (I was suppose to do it in the beginning). This was frustrating given I had no idea this was even an option. Also asked them to see if there was any weird noises coming from inside the cabin when they started it but they never mentioned anything regarding that request…
I am pretty loyal to this store and low maintenance but today’s experience was the worst I have had.
