I brought my Sequoia in for a 40k service and alignment. I was told that the service would take 90-120 minutes. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours, I went to check on my vehicle. Nic, who had checked me in at 3 p.m. had told he was off at 4 and another advisor would contact me later. About 10-15 minutes later, another advisor came out and told me that the alignment couldn’t be done since I had my spare tire on my left rear axle. Nic saw this when I checked in. It would have really been nice to be told this much earlier instead of me going to check on my vehicle. I waited an extra 90 minutes for nothing. This is my second disappointing visit in a row. I’ve been buying and getting my cars serviced at Toyota of Puyallup for over 20 years. Also, my safety inspection report stated that my windshield wipers were all in good working order. My rear windshield wiper was sitting on the front seat because my wiper blade tore. Yes, I failed to mention my wiper to Nic, but that was something that should have been noticed. At my 35k service, I was told that all of my factory tires were worn and needed new tires. You rotated my tires. I had severe wearing on the inside edge of my left rear tire. Not once until 35k was I told that I had an issue with my tires. Needless to say, I’m not very happy. Thanks for listening.

It took 1hour and 42 minutes for an oil change and inspection. My previous appointments with you usually took 1 hour or less and that included the car being washed. That's all, and I'll still come back for an oil change.

Nik. Is always fast, honest and keeps you posted while your car is being worked on....if he has time. His desk often gets swamped with customers questions.

On my way home from the service call, my tire pressure light came on at first blinking and then solid light. It appears to have a malfunction. Bi bought new tires about three weeks ago. Now it is back on. What shall I do?

Why make an appointment when my truck sat for 45 minutes before anyone did anything. It also sat in the parking lot for 1/2 hr finished before anyone came and got me. I will look elsewhere for servicing… 10 year customer gone.

Was not called when vehicle ready for pick up 12noon. I had to call4:30pm to find out it was ready. Couldn’t pick up at that time. Picked up on Friday. Asked for Manager to contact me, this service clearly not up to your standards. Disappointed

Two oil changes in a row my vehicle has leaked oil afterwards, resulting in me having to bring it back in to get fixed. I have to babies, I don’t have time to sit in a service center for hours on end doing this, while paying hundreds of dollars for oil changes that aren’t done correctly.

I was told that I would wait 1 hour for an oil change, but I waited 2 hours. After I paid , I looked under my hood and found that the technician didn’t top off the antifreeze! How can I have confidence in a technician checklist when this was overlooked?? I bring in three different Toyota vehicles to your dealership, but I am losing confidence due to lack of your usual service quality. A small thing, but I wonder if anything else was overlooked. I paid 90 dollars for this service, expecting the best outcome. Now I’m wondering if Toyota of Puyallup has grown beyond reliable quality control.

Was disappointed with the amount of wait time I had given appointment times I would think that would cut that down.. but obviously this is likely due to the amount of work and the mechanics vs the check in staff who were very nice and appeared to be working their butts off

My service experience was totally acceptable, and she was very kind, but it was very odd. She would call my name because my vehicle was finished I would go to the desk she would tell me some thing and then have me go sit down, then she would call my name again Have me go up to the front desk, then walked me back to her desk, then, had me go, sit down, then she called me up again. We made a new appointment for the brakes at her desk, and then I was able to leave. Very inefficient . Again, maybe she’s new, maybe she just wasn’t on her game. It was just very strange and my kids were waiting in the lobby. Truly very sweet gal though.

The whole service took way too long, and although the headlights were adjusted from being way too high, they are now way too low and I missed a turn and almost went off the road last night as a result.
