I can only assume the work was done, as stated on the form I received. My only issue is that I was told it would take 90 minutes "tops". I went to see what was going on, after 2 1/4 hours had passed. No one gave me an update, letting me know it was taking longer than expected.

Seems to be pattern with your techs and inspections. Padding with marginal or completely ridiculous things they "found" that prevent passing inspection. Last year it was a fog light. This year it was my tires. Usually resulting in attempts to charge hubdreds for work that isnt a concern. We never use the fog lights, but had it replaced elsewhere for $100 vs the over $300 you would have charged. Still never use them. The tires I had checked myself a couple of weeks ago and the tread wear bars told me "plan on tires next spring." Your tech back off on that one. I'm sure you all rationalize it, but its not particularly ethical. Use your knowledge to help people keep their cars running well within reasonable cost... and not gouge them during inspections with bogus "it wonxt pass inspection" bs. The rep was patient but seemed to think you eere in the right. Handled things professionally. The tech looked spooked. Look up "cognitive dissonance". Not good for anyone. Do better. FYI.. I may still come for service that I think needs Honda pros, but guessing I'll have inspections done elsewhere in the future.
