I brought my vehicle in for a P200A code and had to pay $271.00 because I was told this wasn’t a Kia issue. I received a new engine March or April of 2023 and given a lifetime warranty. This should be covered by that! I was told the intake manifold was not part of the engine. Of course it’s part of the engine I’m not an idiot! Then I was told the intake manifold was not replaced when the engine was, the same one was put back onto my Sportage. How do I know it was taken off and put back on correctly? How do I know the integrity of the part was not compromised during the repair!? When the engine was replaced I had to bring my vehicle back because they forgot to put the plug in for the fan and my air was not working. I bought this vehicle brand new from Kia in Matteson and I truly believe I was sold a lemon!! It’s had way too many engine issues since I purchased it than a new vehicle should have!! I know Kia could care less what 1 person thinks of their service but when it comes time for a new vehicle, I will think long and hard about another Kia. I believe I should be reimbursed for the diagnostic test and have the intake manifold replaced by Kia.

I was satisfied with the mechanical service that I received today. However, I was unsatisfied with the car wash that I received at the dealership. I noticed several scratches left on my front windshield, side window of the backseat, front hood, and the top of my car that weren't there before my appointment. Melissa was very friendly and helpful, especially considering it was only the second time bringing my vehicle in to be serviced and I wasn’t sure what kind of oil change I needed. She also suggested I replace my air filter and had my vehicle checked for the two recalls that were on it. She made it a much easier experience than I was expecting
