I got a text that said I had an appointment for 8/11 at 9 AM, our agreed-upon time. My wife took the car in at that time and was told that she did not have an appointment then, that our appointment was for 8/15 at 9:30. It's possible that the mixup was because my wife and I have different last names,but the service department people didn't think to ask if the appointment could be in someone else's name, and they acted like the mistake was our fault.

You charge too much. The Ford dealer does the same things you did plus he rotates the tires for less than you charge. No problem with the service, big problem with the cost.
