Johnathan was clear about the services and also helped me in remembering my coupon to maximize my service appointment. He also gave me some great insight on the Highlander. I’ve been watching those models although I love my Avalon. He also scheduled me perfectly and made drop off and pick up a breeze!

I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance and let them know that my check engine had came on and I thought it might possibly be due to the recall that’s on it. I was assured that wouldn’t cause the light to come on but they’d check it out. Was told again that the piece was on back order to fix the recall but I would receive a call when available. After almost 3 hours of waiting I was told that my vehicle was ready and the check engine light had been reset to off and was on due to a gas cap issue. I was happy with service up until I returned to my car and saw the check engine light remained on and a note taped to my dash that said to return with 1/4 tank of gas to have the recall fixed, I wasn’t told when or anything further other than a hand written taped note with no further details. I returned inside and let the gentleman know my light was still on and he called someone over to ‘ shut it off’. The other gentleman showed me my recipes and noticed it was noted that the light would probably be shut off after the recall is fixed. I told him that’s not what I was told and told him that my vehicle has stalled multiple times in recent days before the light came on and they decided the part would be in Friday to fix the problem but I would need a loaner car. The second gentlemen asked the first person to call and find a loaner after he told him he didn’t have one and J was told I would be called in two hours to pick up a loaner. I waited 4 hours and got a call that no cars were available until after 3pm the next day. I have small children and we use our Toyota everyday to run errands and etc. dry dissatisfied in the way Galaxy Toyota took no action in finding us another form of transportation to commute safely until the problem was solved. This was first time using the service center at Galaxy Toyota and decided to due to it being closer to home but not sure si will return for our next service.

I said no bc my appointment was 9:15Am Monday and I didn’t get my car back until 8:30am Wednesday and was without a car 2 days. I should have been offered a courtesy car. But I am glad it is fixed bc we are leaving for Maine Friday.

Bob was very helpful and went out of his way to make our experience great. We knew it was a big job and would take time to repair and he kept us updated and kept in the loop. We appreciated his phone calls with updates. We knew he cared about our car and it has been running very well since the repair.
