Had a repair issue w my Tundra. I told Roger that the part installed did not fit correctly. He was condescending. Called me “Sweetie”. Did his best to talk me into driving off the Toyota lot w this incorrect part. My spouse, who witnessed this behavior, was surprised that I did not verbally chastise him at that moment. As I come from a highly disciplined profession, Roger’s type behavior would not be tolerated. My spouse asked why I did not verbally dress him down ? I answered: I am just trying to get my damn truck fixed & have to go thru him to get this done. Finally, I asked Roger for a supervisor . Emil came out, looked at the Tundra, & immediately identified the part did not fit. Emil had the part ordered. (Emil did great customer recovery.) When the part came in, Roger called to set up the install appt. On the phone, I told him that I was displeased with his last performance in trying to talk me into leaving the Toyota lot w incorrect part. (I expected there to be some consolation on his part.) There was not. Instead, he told me that this whole process had displeased him & that he was suffering from it. Now, I became angry & was not looking forward to returning to Toyota a 3rd time for this repair on May 13th. When I pulled in on May 13th, I was told Roger called out sick. Bryan stepped up & greeted me pleasantly. Listened to my ongoing repair issue & said: These are the repair challenges that I like to take on. We will get this fixed. I will recheck the part & installation to ensure that it’s correct. ( Great customer recovery by Bryan!) Bryan’s behavior is the standard of performance that I expect from Toyota of Orlando. I have been doing business w Toyota of Orlando for over 20 years....plus, had family & friends buy cars from this Toyota . This is a first for me to share a negative review on an employee’s behavior.
Bryan was prompt & professional. He listened & expressed a Can-Do attitude in fixing an ongoing problem w my Tundra. (It was my 3rd time in for the same repair issue.) it was good meeting him.
He was super nice and helpful. My first service experience with Toyota and was pleased.

Car engine light came back on. Have to return back tomorrow to have it check out again
