Always enjoy returning to My Ford dealer. Kinda missed buying new cars from Santa Maria Ford. Came in for service on my 2016 Escape and enjoyed the great service as usual. Had brake light bulbs and windshield wipers replaced. Service by appointment was right on time and took a very nominal amount of time. Came in for an oil change. Tom informed me that I needed an air filter so I had that done as well. They even worked my spare into the tire rotation. Awesome! Service took a very reasonable amount of time considering how busy they looked when I showed up for my appointment.
This service appointment has been night and day different from my last service. I scheduled an appointment for my truck about 2 weeks ago and for the first time in my life the dealership called and canceled my appointment. So a week after that I scheduled another appointment for 8:45am. I dropped off my vehicle a little early. By 12:55pm I had no interaction in regards to my vehicle, so I called and left a message. I received a return call about 1:30pm, stating my vehicle is next to be worked on. My vehicle arrived 5 hours earlier, and has not been touch yet. My call for my vehicle is ready for pick up came at 3:30pm. Not sure what was different from my last appointment but I am a little perturbed this time.
