Sadly, I took my car to Audi when a message on my dashboard came up saying that my oil pressure was low. Took my car to Audi service center in Coral Springs and had to leave my car there for over 24 hours. I was not offered a loaner as they claimed they had none available, and then come to find out, according to my service advisor, Rodrigo, there was a massive leak as well as potentially a second leak that needed to be urgently addressed and would cost me between $3000-5000 to repair, the latter amount depending on whether they found a second leak later. I declined service and took my car to a mechanic my father trusts for a second opinion. Come to find out, there was no leak anywhere, and the oil was just super dirty. All it needed was an oil change. For all I know, my service advisor was lied to by the mechanics that were working on my car. I don’t know what really went down that day. But I must say, for Audi to tell me that they want to earn my business, they really let me down. So I urge that someone look into this because I really don’t appreciate being lied to. On top of everything, I was charged about $389 just for them to tell me lies. First I was told it would be $328 to diagnose the problem, and then when I declined they tacked on additional manual labor costs of $60. I felt heartbroken and felt taken advantage of. I ended up having to rent a car while at Audi and incur more costs unnecessarily when Audi could have simply changed the oil for me and called it an honest day.
The decent thing for Audi to do is to refund me those $389 because at the end of the day I wasted a whole day without my car and drove away throwing this atrocious amount of money down the drain. Whoever is reading this….how would you feel if it were done to you? Is this even being read? Guess I shall see. I am a single father who works three jobs and I am a man of my word. When I put food on the table, I know it came from an honest place. If you cannot refund the $389, then that is water under the bridge, but Audi has lost my trust and future business. I have been a happy Audi driver for 10 years, and this is my first visit at the Audi at Coral Springs. I was highly disappointed, I can’t say it enough. This incident all started on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. I dropped my car off at 8:15 am. I had made this appointment over the phone, and when I arrived at Audi, Rodrigo told me he could not find me on the computer so you may not find my name on the roster but I was there because he took me in anyway.
