My first car was a used Ford and 4/5s of all my automotive purchases have been Ford products . I have found over the years that it all boils down to the culture of the dealership that is the most important element. It is what makes me change dealerships and it is what makes me come back . Santa Margarita Ford seems to have a vibe that I like so far and allows me not to mind the 25 minute drive . It pays to advertise with those post cards as when I started looking to replace my 2018 Fusion with an Edge or Escape I remembered thinking that I should visit Santa Margarita Ford . I bought a 2023 Edge and as they say “ I was not planning on buying that day”. Hats off to Mathew as he made that process doable. My service and wiper replacement needs today were taken care of by Fredy Campos and he was more than helpful . I will be back in 5,000 miles and Thank You , I was impressed.????

Tried to sell me something I didn’t need. I personally changed my cabin filter one week ago and after your team inspected my vehicle I was told by your technician I needed a new cabin filter. The manager and technician took time to explain how and why it happened. They were nice enough to give me the engine air filter for free. Still-the trust factor has been broken.

Service was not provided as quoted. Backup camera was said to be under recall only to find out that was not the case. No comment on that , only found out no repair was done after picking up the car and checking if problem was fixed. Plus over $200 charged to tell us our seat heating and cooling function didn’t work which we already knew. Last time at SMF.

Everyone was polite and diagnostic on our Ford was eventually completed. It did take a lot longer than we had been told it would take. We did have time to walk down to an In and Out Restaurant for lunch…
