After all that was done & tested you'd think my thermometer would read correctly. When I started it up it read 195 F. Was running late to work or I would have turned around. When I started it up after work was at 95F, then went to 195F and stayed there. What's up with that? Please advise, if it is something I can do or when I feel like taking another hour drive up sometime you can do along with my free wash (I know, they were trying to save me time, appreciated it)

First I will say that Ashley was good and polite. My problem is with your mechanic. I brought it in for a check engine light and was told there’s nothing wrong with it and I need to change my fuel filter in my air filter which were not done that long ago. Even so I declined the work paid the diagnostic fee and I go to change the fuel filter myself and your mechanic tightened the screws down so hard That I literally broke a bit off inside one of them. Then I tried using another one and it twisted it because it was on so tight. Those screws are only supposed to be talked to like 7 or 8 newton meters because the lid is made of aluminum and it needs to be put on properly to ensure a correct fit and your mechanic wrenched them down so hard that I’m worried about when I take it off and put it back on if it’s going to seal properly. I am completely unsatisfied.

I had the repair done under warranty. The loaner car allowed me to make only two round trips with you paying for the gas. I paid for the diesel fuel.

The service is always quick and the staff is always knowledgeable. Everything is always explained to me so I can understand. Igor always makes sure I understand what is being done to my car and goes above and beyond to fix minor things like my Bluetooth (in a past appointment). Love going to Charlotte Volkswagen!
