I dropped my car off at 11:30am for annual service and was told it would be just an oil change and tire rotation. It took over 3 hours and never completed the tire rotation or vacuumed out my car.

First, let me say that I love my Volvo S60 that I purchased from your dealership. I live in Punta Gorda and it is somewhat of a hassle to come down to Fort Myers. In the past I was given a loaner vehicle or someone drove up to come get my vehicle. I asked if this is possible for servicing my car this time and was told it was not possible. My wife brought my vehicle down there to be serviced. She arrived at 9:45 AM. I was told on the phone that it would be between an hour to two hours when I made the appointment. We have two young kids that need to be picked up from school. My wife waited for approximately five hours today. After approximately three hours they were able to procure a loaner vehicle so she could go get some food. My wife has forbidden me to ever buy a car that needs to be serviced by Volvo because it is such a hassle. This is not the first time that we were promised a timeframe in which the vehicle be serviced and it far exceeded the expectation. I understand that mistakes and estimates are part of the job, but the lack of follow up is a problem. At one point we started looking at rental cars because we didn’t know what we were going to do. The car was finally finished and I received a call at 4:20 in the afternoon approximately 6 1/2 hours after we dropped it off. If we would’ve known that it would take 6 1/2 hours we would’ve scheduled it another day.

Jackie is the best! She handles a very busy position in the service department and still manages to treat each customer with kindness and respect in a professional and efficient manner. I appreciate the timely way she returns voicemail messages. She keeps customers informed as to the progress of a car in service. My current Volvo is my third one and a big reason I keep coming back to Ft. Myers Volvo is because of the service Jackie provides.
