My vehicle was delivered to me brand new and now one tested the function of the trailer lighting. I hooked up my trailer on a holiday to find no lights. I spent 3 hours checking grounds on trailer, I purchased new trailer lights. A day later we traveled on vacation with NO boat and trailer.
After the recent visit to have wiring installed correctly I am advised there is NO Fix.
If I want to pull my boat with my New be Tiguan I cannot and now must rent a car. VW should be ashamed.! I have been 30 years loyal. Why would thus b acceptable to any car owner. Installed by dealer and not functioning with no date when it will. I should not have to pay for and car that can not do what it was purchased to do. Failure n every level.
Took five weeks to get my car back. Kept getting told it would be done this date only to get a call saying it wasn’t ready. Top shade that covers the sun roof is now falling down, was not like that when I took the car in for service.
Clyde went out of his way to accommodate my service request.
The service staff at Fred beans is terrific! Particularly Jack. He couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Service manager Clyde was also great. However Volkswagen of America was impossible to deal with and resulted in many days delay and no satisfaction from my standpoint and I drove my car out of the service lot with out any service. Fred beans staff has always been terrific. But I fear Volkswagen of America has lost a customer for life!

Got a call from Jack when my car was ready, who also went over details of the servive and brought my car to the door, ready to go. Nice touch.
This service was okay. The labor costs especially for the spark plug replacement was high. The issue was that I made an appointment online and the dealership didn’t have it scheduled. Sara did a great job getting the work completed. However there were items that she raised that were not raised previously (radiator flush) which could have been managed earlier.
I will still bring the car back to ****’s. Sara did a good job.
Jack has always been very friendly, professional and knowledgeable each time I have had to bring my car into VW..
I don't remember whether my next vehicle service was discussed. Would be nice to know what is coming up...
Sara really did a great job communicating on vehicle status and getting work done correctly. Great customer service!!
One thing I like to mention is that I have a hard time to believe that I have to either drive a lot or idle the engine for 30 minutes once a week in order to keep a full charge. In the last couple of weeks we were stranded twice as the battery had lost enough power to prevent the engine from starting. We have had this car ( 2018 Passat ) now for almost 2 years and in all that time we never had a starting problem. Nor did we ever had any starting problems with our previous Diesel powered Passat. And a couple of times recently I did not drive our Vanagon for 3 and 4 months and it always started again.

Sara Frister is an excellent example of customer service. She was dedicated in treating me with the best of service. Even though I did not have an appointment she went above and beyond in making sure I was happy. Because of the experience I had at Fred Beans.I decided to make them my service and maintenance provider for my new car.
Kudos Sara for a job well done.
Jack did an awesome job managing the process in some hard times. The lengthy process was a little frustrating, but having been provided a loaner car, it was not unacceptable.
I understand there’s some problem with sourcing parts out of Germany right now? My guess is that’s to blame for the small amount of dissatisfaction I have, rather than anyone at Fred Beans.
