I came in for service via tow for replacement of one flat tire. AAA told me the lug nuts had swollen.It should be noted I had previously purchased a set of tires at Carson Toyota. I was told during the service of tire that the lug nuts had swollen on all my tires not just the tire that had gone flat. I was told by the service tech Jimmy that I had to wait a day for the lug nuts to come which was fine. After the work was completed 9/16/22 I drove the car off lot and heard a loud noise coming from my trunk. I went to check out the noise and went to open my truck via remote and and from inside my vehicle but it wouldn't open. I immediately took the vehicle back and advised tech of the issue. The tech took the info and left a write up for Jimmy. I was advised by Jimmy that the rear actuator trunk latch had shorted out. I waited 5 days for the trunk latch to be fixed. The day I picked up the vehicle and drove it off the lot I still heard the loud noise coming from the trunk area/right side of my vehicle. I immediately took my car back. Jimmy had a shop forman inspect my vehicle and it was determined a bushing was apart from the sway bar and I was shown a photo. My major complaint after this $1000.00 ,experience is that your techs are the only was that have touched my tires. I think your techs are tightening the lug nuts too tight and that's why they were stripped and swollen. It seems strange to me that my trunk was working perfectly fine and when I left the tire to be fixed and all of sudden it stopped working. It is also strange to me that no technician didn't notice the trunk wasn't working or notice that loud noise was coming from the sway bar area. I have been a long time customer of Carson Toyota. I have purchased 2 vehicles and leased 2 vehicles from Carson Toyota and don't remember the technicians working on my vehicle to be less than good. I understand that there is a shortage of supplies and don't have much of an issue with that. I just think you are price gauging customers now. I was offered $100 discount for my trouble. That's fine but I am a retiree living on pension and bills over $ 1000.00 for minor fixes and waiting almost a week to resolve itself is a bit much. I am reconsidering about having anything other than general service done at Carson Toyota. I would like to commend your service tech, Jimmy Novell who kept me informed the whole time about the status of my car.

Alex Campos was very detailed with explanations with finding the reason of the broken part/misaligned tailgate; provided photos via texts based on investigation/research and even made recommendation on how to better protect the car and avoid the same occurrence in the future. The driver who delivered the car when picked up was professional and polite and the car was cleaned and double checked the other parts as well including tires. I give a 5?? for the overall service.
