I brought my car in to Service for an extended crank issue. No start. The vehicle cranks for a extended period of time before it starts. Only 2 hours later I received a call saying the car is ready to be picked up. I was informed that they tested the battery and it was at 25% life which would make sense due to the extended crank issue. No reason was provided of why the extended crank was happening. The issue was blamed on the battery from the start of the service and no other explanation was provided of what the cause could be. Since I was told nothing was wrong with my vehicle I drove it later that evening, just to experience the same issue again of a no start and was stranded at a further destination that night. It has been an on going gamble every time I turn the vehicle off and hoping it starts again. I feel my vehicle was improperly diagnosed for a extended no start condition.

Eric was fantastic and the technician Carlos was great! I won’t go to any other Toyota dealer than Carson Toyota as long as Eric and Carlos are there!
