The service on my car was good but the wash after was terrible. My car was still dirty outside.
I found Darryl to be a man of integrity. He explained what would happen in more than one scenario and I thank God that he was honest and forthright with me. My car was less than I anticipated it to be. .
I'll start by saying that I know this won't change anything - - but I'll write this anyway.
I was not the only customer in the waiting room who was not satisfied with their car care customer experience.
I arrived early (9:45 am) for my 10:00 appointment, but the garage personnel were so busy that I wasn't checked in until 10:25 a.m. I tried to get people's attention but was either ignored or the attendants were busy checking in other people. Obviously there are about a dozen slots for each hour in terms of appointments. Or perhaps people just brought their cars in on the spur of the moment. I understood that it would take about an hour or 90 minutes for my car to get the oil changed and have a recall problem with the car addressed.
Around 12:25 or so, I was informed that my car wasn't even being looked at yet; it wasn't even on a rack in the garage. The gentleman (Mike) who checked me in said he was "doing his best to get my car moved to the front of the line". He was sorry for the inconvenience. I seriously thought about asking for my keys and leaving right then. It took TWO HOURS for my car to get on a rack and get the oil change and recall issue addressed when I originally scheduled a 10:00 appointment.
The 10:00 appointment time is obviously a very loose thing. If I have 10:00 appointment time, I don't expect to still be at the dealership at 12:30. Finally, after FOUR HOURS, Mike came to get me and I left. He and Renee, your very courteous worker answering the phone, apologized repeatedly, for whatever good that did.
Suffice to say, it was NOT a good experience at all. I don't expect to have to wait FOUR HOURS for an oil change and a recall issue to be addressed. It wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't take TWO HOURS for my car to finally make it into the garage and have it worked on. I should not be at the dealership at 2 pm after calling ahead a few days prior and setting up a 10:00 am appointment!
I brought a 2020 Equinox from your dealership about a week before Christmas in December 2019. I don't believe I will look to come back to your dealership in the future when I consider buying a new vehicle. I don't feel very appreciated as a customer.
