I specifically told my service advisor that I had never been to Kirby Subaru before. I told her I had just moved here and even had to look up my new address because I couldn’t remember it. After she got my info, she told me I could wait outside, at the dog park or inside and she would find me when my car was done. I was never told ANYTHING about how the process would go. When I received a text message that said, “ Update: Great news Carmen! Your vehicle is all serviced and ready to come home! Thanks, Gaby Tafoya” I assumed my service advisor would come talk to me about my car like I have experienced at every other Subaru dealership I’d been to. Nope. I sat there like a dumb **** for an extra 45 minutes, wondering where my car was. When I asked when my car would be done someone (not sure who) said to me, “didn’t you get a text message?” I sure did but there where no instructions and no one told me where I needed to go or what I needed to do to get car and pay for my service. I’ve never had my car serviced at a place that is so impersonal that you get a text when your car is done and no one bothers to go over anything with you; you just get your car and go. I’ve had better service getting my oil changed at Walmart. Furthermore, when someone tells you that they’ve never been to the dealership, it would behoove the service advisor to at least tell the customer the process. When I looked up a Subaru dealership to get my oil changed, I saw Kirby Subaru had higher ratings/reviews than the other Subaru dealership. Let me tell you, I’ll take my chances with the other Subaru dealership because I was not impressed with Kirby and it was hands down, the worst experience I’ve ever had at Subaru or any other dealership in recent memory. My experience at Kirby can be summed up with saying, “welcome to Kirby Subaru: figure it out yourself.” Believe me when I say that I’m willing to drive as far as it takes. Where I moved from, my nearest Subaru dealership was 1.5 hours away and I faithfully drove there for service.
Paul was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Dennis was incredibly polite, quick and professional. The younger Front desk girl/ receptionist Was dismissive and not very nice- extra notable when you are going in to pay for body work- much prefer someone pleasant when having a hard day already.
The lady at the service desk was very rude.
Great experience at Kirby Subaru, quick and freindly service advisors that make getting my car serviced very easy.
