Company needs reliable methods of communication. There is never a person to speak with when calling, only a message service, which stated that there would be a return call within the day, but there isn’t. Guest service needs to be much faster. I waited almost 6 hours for a key pick up and no communication in between. No information was given to troubleshoot my issues. Instead the car was towed in after a full day’s stress and over 30 phone calls to coordinate for a simple fix. Then, I was not communicated to prior about a $170 inspection fee.

There are numerous issues I had with this repair that I’ve never had with MKB’s service department before.
1) I paid to replace a new hood latch switch that didn’t fix my “Hood Open” Light problem. It was revealed this “hood open” light on my DIC display was related to the other issues I was having: ie: No high beam lights, No turn signals, No trunk release open, and No auto engine start feature using Key Remote. It was all later related to a bad Body Control Module, P/N: 22860591.
2) All the issues started when I noticed a “Battery Saver Mode” message on my DIC display along with the “Hood Open” message.
3) Upon picking up my vehicle and driving home, I checked to see if all my issues were repaired and found the following issues still exist:
A) High beam lights still do not work.
B) Turn signals worked momentarily, they do not work at all now.
C) Auto start feature still not working.
D) I now have a “Trunk Open” message on DIC with trunk lid closed.
E) Missing an internal engine cover on the right side of the engine.
F) The following day when I started my car, I have a “Hood Open” message on the DIC again.
G) My drivers side door jam area was damaged when the technician had to pry or jimmy my driver’s door open after locking the keys in the vehicle. The service department will repair or fix what it can when paint arrives.
I will bring the vehicle back in for follow up diagnostics and repair.
He was very easy to work with. He got me a rental car and everyrging.
