Misty did a fantastic job. I only have one issue to bring up and that is that when I got in my vehicle to drive off the hood was unlatched so I had to latch the hood. I believe that was a technician’s responsibility. Also it might be a good idea for Misty or someone from the sales team to verify everything is buttoned up and ready to go when the customer comes to pick up their vehicle. Brandon was very professional and did exactly what he said he would. Most importantly, this is my usual experience and the reason I have all my cars serviced at Jim Burke Ford(I also own a Jeep & an Escalade). I recommend Jim Burke Ford without reservation.

An oil leak was found during inspection. I was told I would need to take it to the service department, which I understood. However, when I asked if they could call them and get me a rough estimate I was told they would have to run a diagnostic test first which would cost $130. It just seems outrageous to me that I wouldn’t be able to get an estimate without having to pay. I was just told I have an oil leak now you need to verify it further with a diagnostic check. Makes no sense.

Took my car in at noon and was told they were busy and it would be ready around 3. I said I was leaving it and would be back after work. I arrived to pick it up at 3:40 and the car hadn’t even been moved. I had to wait another hour for an oil change.

When I came in I explained that I had just called in and was told to come in for a diagnostic. I got looked at as if I were crazy. Not knowing you have two dealerships. I have just come into the area from out of state. I felt more like a money purse than a customer. Ominous from Washington and dealing with a dealership that truly treats each customer like family I was left with a bad taste in my mouth here. I never believe the customer is always right. But I do believe in employees keeping opinions and attitudes in check when dealing with a situation that is confusing for the customer. Your employees are the gate keepers of knowledge. They need to freely give it away and deliver on the promises of the FORD motor company. Thank you.
