It should be made clearer there is a mileage that must be met for each service or the customer must pay for it.

I brought my truck in end of August for an oil change and for a recall of the brake master cylinder. Never had an issue with the breaks until after about a month after the master cylinder was replaced per the recall. It was acting how I would expect it would if it was failing as stated in the recall description. At times I could put the break pedal all the way to the floor when stopped at red lights or stop signs, very concerning not knowing when the brake will actually stop. Could not get an appointment for over 3 weeks to have it looked at. I looked at everything to see if there were any obvious leaks, but couldn't see any, figured it must be a bad cylinder and that once I brought it in it would be replaced per the recall again and off I go. At the scheduled appointment explained everything to Cooper about how it was acting and the issues I had, and how none of these issues happened until after the recall was done. After the techs looked at the truck I was told that it was checked over, no leaks were found, lines were re-bled and checked, doesn't seem to be an issue with the master cylinder. BUT they did find that my rear breaks were worn and that could be contributing to the issue and recommend replacing them and that it could be done that day. I wanted my truck to be fixed and safe for my family so even though it didn't seem like the issue to me, I trusted the professionals that this would be the fix and agreed to pay the $800 for new rear brake job and servicing the front breaks. After completion I left and didn't even make it to the first light before I put the break pedal almost to the floor. Then it did it 2 more times by the time I could turn around and make it back to the dealership. After explaining everything all over again and that it was still working improperly. This time a tech rode with me and test drive the truck and saw/felt all the issues I was talking about. His assumption was the master cylinder should be checked which I had assumed was done in the first place. The final paperwork states that once in the second time that the master cylinder was checked and was found to be bypassing internally and replaced. The same tech then took the truck for a test drive to confirm that he could not replicate the issues and found that the issue was fixed. I knew there had to be an issue with the cylinder and I fell for it when I was told a rear brake job was the answer. I want to know why the first step was not to check the master cylinder after all the information I had given them and just replace it under the recall. I feel like I was suckered into an $800 brake job when the simple solution was to replace the cylinder. Due to my experience with this situation I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere for my truck maintenance and any future truck I may buy. ** Not sure if this submitted the first time, so re-submitting***

The team turned around some maintenance on a very tight schedule (that was not their fault) and didn't complain even when I showed up early. Their agreeableness was much appreciated.
