Very good but due to mandatory training for one of the finance persons. That slowed up the process.
As always Jacky was helpful and friendly. Thanks
The service folks were extremely friendly and very courteous and helpful. We are still working to completely resolve an issue regarding my driver side air bag....despite the severe warnings I was given by the two salesmen, and the finance man who completed my paperwork at Pompano Beach Volkswagon...The service history shown to me in Florida, at the time of the sale, showed I would need to replace my DS airbag as soon as possible, because it was a recall that had not been fulfilled..it was highlighted in yellow ???? ..The Pompano Beach service department told me it would take over two weeks for them to get the part and do the replacement, and I couldn't wait, as I had a fixed reservation to catch the Auto train home. The folks at Vista told me to make sure and replace it as soon as possible...they even offered me the option of removing it, but I decided it would be safer to leave it in for the ride home to Maine. Then, it took me 60 days to receive my registration papers, which delayed my inspection appointment with Darlings. Finally able to get the inspection, yesterday, I requested the air bag replacement, and Jackie looked up the service history again (three months later) and found that the service history now shows the air bag had actually been replaced, four days before I bought the car. I'm still confused, but reassured by Jackie's logic. I just don't understand why the service department at Vista, who did do a "quickie" look over the car for me... and the two salesmen, and the man who completed the sale...all told me to get the driver's side air bag replaced ? How could they have not known that it was already done? As I said before, I'm reassured by Jackie's logic and professionalism ...but I still wish there was a way to be 100 percent certain it has been replaced.
They are professional, they did the work in a timely manner. Keep me informed. Great job.

Jacky is always a pleasure to deal with!
My overall experience was fine. My sales representative (Liam) was very professional, 100% no issues with him. My reason for a No is only because I question needing a replacement of rear rotors when they were just replaced two years ago. I found the corrosion to be excessive (service technician) showed/went over in detail) with me. His explanation made perfect sense, I just still have trouble with the amount of corrosion in two years/only 15,000 miles?? My car is kept in an insulated garage, not out in the elements of inclement weather - just doesn’t make sense that my rotors/brake pads would need to be replaced every two years. Especially (specifically) rear rotors (supposed to wear longer) then front due to braking. Rear rotors was stated were worse than the front. Rear’s we’re the ones replaced two years ago? Hopefully this helps with my not being fully happy with my service…
I’ve researched quite extensively rotors and brake pads replacement. Understand the condition they were in “replacement ??” although I didn’t have any of the signs that they were needing replacement. I wasn’t given a measurement of the rotors (mm worn down to). No screeching/squealing, braking was fine (no issues) other then a light (thumping). Car had sat undriven for 4 months so hadn’t had time to drive and brake to work the build up off. I saw no signs of glazing on the rotor shown to me? (Just from my research) what I saw didn’t seem to have glazing? No lights, (warning) had come on letting me know there was an issue needing to be addressed.
Really question replacement was necessary at this time….
Job well done. Courteous, efficient, and competent in getting the work done! Thanks!
