Had appt for oil change and tire rotation. Paid for those services. Vehicle got finished quickly. I asked John Turner if they did the tire rotation bc it was so fast and he said yes. I got my statement and there was no line item for tire rotation although he knew that was what I was scheduled for and we discussed price ahead of time and the amount I paid was supposed to include tire rotation. When I brought it to his attention that there was no line item for tire rotation, he assured me it was done. I didn’t feel like that was correct bc I’m fairly sure it has always been on a separate line but I had to accept his answer. Then I noticed on the checkoff sheet that there was no checkmark for tire rotation. He was with another customer so, with me standing nearby, he heard me ask another employee about why there would not be a checkmark if the tires were rotated. That employee said he would ask the manager. In the meantime Mr. Turner informed the manager that he had not put it on my order to do which is why the people working on it did not do it. So he basically lied to me that it was done. The manager apologized and gave me a $20 credit which does make me feel better, but Mr. Turner should’ve been honest with me upfront. If I hadn’t pressed further on that, I would’ve paid for a service I did not get. My dissatisfaction is only with him and not the manager or orhers who did the work.
Had to return to the dealership this morning due to my service tire monitor system light coming on. Kaleem Wilson who helped me yesterday did not even acknowledge me at all when I walked in. I was just there yesterday afternoon for an oil change so I know he remembered me. The other guy working the counter is the one who helped me. Kaleem never said a word. He could have at least said I’m sorry that happened. Nothing!!! This was my second oil change that was free with the purchase of my vehicle. I will not return to the dealership for an oil change. This problem should have been corrected before I left yesterday. As soon as I started my car the warning came on so I know that the person who moved my car and parked it would have seen that warning. I figured once I drove down the road some it would register the tire pressure but it didn’t so I had to go back this morning before work.
John was thorough,pleasant, and helpful.
