The service and repairs were first rate. Disappointed with the insurance coverage for the repairs but this is out of Royal Motors hands but a warranty related issue.

Appreciated very smooth and courteous service by Johnny. One thing always seems to get lost with every service appointment is the request for a replacement vehicle. I always request one as I need to drive to work in Walnut Creek, but my request always seem to come as a surprise every time no matter who is assisting me. I understand that a service vehicle may not be available but a tental car is supposed to be arranged in that case. I wish this part of the service is handled more smoothly.

Taking the time to explain the tests and repair process, being thorough and methodical about each update, covering what’s a priority or not and being honest and specific about the costs made a huge difference in my satisfaction. Hector was on top of that very friendly and matching my mood whether I had a more serious question or was more lighthearted about something. Stating specifically how it was important to him and Mazda that I had an up and running and safe car and was satisfied with the experience reassured me that he cared about me and my car specifically. He also called my car a she and that she was in great condition which I totally appreciated because this is how I refer to her :) Thanks again for a great service !! :)

Dan is one of those rare people who can make your rainy day feel sunny no matter what. He was very busy and I was in a rush and late for an event but with his great sense of humor Dan called the tension in the air. He is a great asset to Royal Motors. Thank you for employing such people.

We had a frustrating experience with Hector where he never called to give us an update on our car when he said he would call. This happened multiple times throughout the day and the day after (our hitch installation ended up taking much longer than expected), and when we called, nobody could give us an answer as to what was going on with our brand new car. We ended up calling Mike Les, the gentleman we leased the car from, and he was tremendously helpful and apologetic, which we truly appreciated. He took care of our rental fee, which we appreciated, since our lease agreement had stated that our car would get a trailer hitch installed at no additional cost at the time of service. As for Hector, I believe communication is key, and we feel like we never got that from him. I myself am in the customer service industry, and I know that if there’s ever a problem, constant communication is always better than keeping customers in the dark.
