Angela Gagliano did a FANTASTIC job taking great care of me BUT something slipped thru the cracks with mechanics follow thru>one important need was to resolve notification of "SD CARD".i HAD TO CALL BACK (SHE DID CALL BACK the following day>If the mechanic had looked into it while the truck was there, it would have saved your sercice team time spent on calling me back. SD card needs to be replaced and I truly hope that it in fact is on order and that your team will follow up with me when you/GM gets the part. In closing I do understand about the delays that occur about chips, I hope that your company will do the best that they can.

When I took the vehicle I let the representative know what the issues were of the vehicle. I mainly took it because the dashboard said that the stabilitrack and traction control said it needed to be serviced. I also informed him the exact code that the vehicle read which was U0101 The vehicle also had problems when it was put on reverse which the transmission seemed to buck. When I got a call back regarding the issues of the vehicle, I was basically told the same thing I had informed the rep when I took it. It was recommended that a new transmission be put in costing $6000. I asked what is the alternative and there was none. There was no thorough look at what was causing the issues. My thought is that car companies hire engineers to develop computer codes when there is a problem with the vehicle. The vehicle did not have any codes regarding transmissions issues. I took it to the mechanic shop I been going for years. The mechanic did a thorough check on the system which everything was working fine. The transmission plug was thoroughly cleaned and ever since then the car has been working fine, no issues with transmission bucking. I was charged less for the inspection and no work needed to be done and the car works fine. No call is needed, the main issues is what the technician recommended. I suggest that the technicians do a thorough check when inspecting vehicles and first go based on what any code may be displaying and not go on what they thinks is the problem. I was disappointed at the fact that I was told I would get a lender vehicle while they service my vehicle but I was not able to get one after waiting almost 2 hours at Tom Bell I was able to get my husband to pick me up which he was frustrated because he had plans for the day and then I had to use him to pick me up when I also had plans so neither of us accomplished we planned on other than that customer service was great I understand it was a holiday weekend so it was really out of the control of the people working and the service department had nothing to do with that and they provide a great service I just wish they wouldn't have told me on the phone when scheduling the service that I would definitely get a loaner vehicle so I did not think it would inconvenience me on my day off but I am thankful for the service and I appreciate the customer service from the Tom Bell Chevrolet employees
