First I was quoted $65 for the oil change I called to schedule but when I got there I was told it was $128. Then, a 2% credit card charge is a change in policy and was not disclosed at the time that I scheduled service. I feel I should be reimbursed the $22 charge because had I known about it in advance I could/would have brought my checkbook and paid via check. I also feel the $89 diagnostic charge was excessive. I told the rep that my tire pressure indicator was faulty when I called to arrange service. Lastly I was told I needed a new drive belt and brake fluid but when I asked how long it had been since they were last replaced the rep had to “go find out”. Shouldn’t that be part of the justification when proposed repairs are quoted? I went in expecting a routine oil change and tire pressure gauge repair and left with an $1,200 bill. Very Disappointing.

My appointment was scheduled for 30 August 2025 at 12:30. I requested a loaner vehicle and although loaner vehicle users are not supposed to have pet their was pet hair everywhere in the vehicle. Due to it being a Saturday, the service department closed at 4. I returned the loaner back before 4 and my vehicle still was not serviced. Billy was very pleasant and stayed late but my vehicle was not complete until after 5. Iff there are not enough technicians available for that day maybe Lexus should cancel appointments to accommodate the technician workload. My vehicle service was rushed and when my vehicle was returned to me my shield was not attached and although they stated my fluids were filled they were not even touched. 4 hours is unacceptable for a simple oil change.

The service I received entailed a lot of attention to detail for which I appreciated very much how wonderfully it was handled. The necessary work needed to be completed on my car was presented very effectively on a text document with photograph, which were very understandable. Tino provides great customer service and is very customer focused. Related to the overall dealer experience, charging 3% when paying with your credit card is an insult to long time customers (30 years+) like me. Also, the amenities offered to waiting customers (coffee and water) contribute to an extremely underwhelming experience compared to other dealers.

Kay is the kind of service rep I wished for when I first bought my Lexus. I asked for a woman who could relate to me and my needs. I might not the name of the lug nut needed to unlock the tires but she did and we were able to accomplish what I needed. I will be traveling back to Texas alone next week and she fully understood the importance of getting my car road worthy for the drive which gives me peace of mind! It doesn’t hurt that she LOVES my dog ???? either which makes us both feel very welcomed each time we come in for service!!
