It's not Ernesto's fault that the automated messaging system Lexus uses to notify customers of car status - did not notify me. I called to get updates, no answer. Service desk would forward me to Ernesto's phone and that was it. I called several times and decided to physically drive to Lexus El Cajon to check on the status of my car. I drove to the Lexus Service Center twice and car was not ready. Follow up phone calls would be nice, especially if you know an employee is out of office (medical, family, appointments, etc.) and he has customer cars in the queue. On top of that, my car was grimy on the exterior when I received it yesterday. I didn't even bother looking at it when I was picking it up - I assumed with my time being wasted, the car being in the shop for 5 days, maintenance being conducted, and parts being replaced - the service center would have at least washed the car. Dirty rims, sticky residue all over the edges of the rims, dirt on the wheels, dirt/dust all over the car. I bring my Lexus here because I've been treated very well over the last 4yrs and employees are friendly. But it's experiences like this that make me want to take it to another Lexus dealership in SD. I'm aware these are 1st world problems - it's the principle.

Jake is a fantastic service advisor. Upon arriving at Lexus, he greeted me and immediately got to work by getting my vehicle information. It’s little things such as those that make the experience enjoyable and shows initiative. He has is friendly and kind and when we and my dad had questions he explained them thoroughly and had patience with us. As someone who is not an expert on cars, he made my questions feel heard without judgement. I am so happy with the level of customer service and will only get service at Lexus if Jake is my SA.
