I purchased a car at this dealership back in July. This was my first time brining a car for service/ maintenance. The service I received up front was over all good. The only thing that bothered me was the price that I received over the phone and the price that service representative gave me was different. I felt like they were trying to charge me more without explaining the details. Honesty and being up front is a big deal for me!
When I got my car back, it was barely washed and water was still dripping. The inside of the car was not cleaned. Yes, it was vacuumed but my 7 year old could of done a better job. I asked the service guy why it’s like that and if this is how it’s usually done. His response was “ they must of been in the hurry”. Why should I suffer the service when I am a paying customer ? Also he explained that the car doesn’t get wiped down inside because of Covid restrictions. I understand that, but I wished it was explained to me before my car was taking for service. The outside still looked dirty and wet . I also been told that I should take my car to car wash and they will usually do a better job. Really?
As a customer coming to a Known dealership Like Lexus I have expectations. These expectations were not met at all. If you guys do a such a sloppy job washing a car and giving it back to the customer like that and giving bunch of excuses. What is really done behind closed doors? How am I suppose to know what was really done to my car when I bring it for service? A sloppy job?
Like I said, honesty and Transparency is very important. A car wash is not that important but by showing me how sloppy of a job you do that makes me question if it is a place I should bring my car back.
I had higher standard for this dealership and by just one visit it was greatly lowered and the reputation of it is now questioned .

Our service writer was very good. Where our service experience was not up to par was the wait for the service writer. The dealership promotes customers making appointments. However, we made an appointment, arrived just prior to our appointment time and had to wait 15-20 minutes for the service writer. That long wait destroys the concept of having an appointment.

Jeffrey provided great customer care by keeping us well informed. He went the extra me by discovering an error that Lexus of Serramonte had made before we bought the car. The only thing that could have been better was if Metro Lexus had called them directly to work out payment of the repairs instead of putting that back on us to work out.

Cordis Bunch took care of situation that was guaranteed by sales person, turned out to be false to get you into a car sale and very misleading and upsetting. He was professional, along with Paul Y. The tech who always goes above and beyond service. Made today a good experience. Paul Yakovets is outstanding! Great caring individual and professional.
Communication between sales, management needs improvement. Lots of mixed messages and promises to get you into a car but when the time arrives no go on oil changes as promised. Bait and switch. Bad news for Lexus.

I did have to wait a while to check in my car and there was a coughing kid. I obviously was not happy about that. The child did have a mask on but it was slipping below his nose. I feel you should have more help so people aren’t waiting.I had arrived at my appointment time but there were not enough help. I was completely happy with Jeffrey Miller.
