It would have been helpful to be informed that my battery needed replacement during my routine maintenance visit back in Jan, rather than finding out afterward.

My car has been sitting in your dealership in van nuys since April 2024. A year.
Back last year, I received a recall notice for the passengers airbag. I called a few times and was told part is not there. Since I’ve been driving a lot I voiced my concern to Anthony and he suggested that I could have a loaner until the part comes in. I agreed for a loaner and I asked him what happens when the car sits for a while (I didn’t know how long it may take) and will need parts replaced or fixed?
He assured me that Lexus will replace and/or fix anything that will go bad including battery, breaks tires etc.
I didn’t imagine that my car would be there for long, but his assurance made me feel comfortable so I took the loaner.
Several months go by and I called Anthony and asked him and he said part not in yet but again after I asked him about repairs, he assured me all is fine.
Comes now, a year later, I came to exchange a loaner on Friday and asked Anthony for status and he said not yet. This time he said that Lexus will replace ONLY the battery and the the recall and will not replace or fix anything. This was upsetting!! A year later and he changed his tune.
This is unacceptable and I expect that when the recall part comes in, Lexus will fix, repair or replace any part that needs to be replaced for a car that has been sitting for a year without maintenance or movement. That include battery, tires that have been damaged from sitting too long, brakes, rotors, empty fuel tank and replace fuel, liquids, oil change, and any other parts that will need to.
This is upsetting and unsettling.
If I had know that this is the case and the part takes over a year, iOS find a different solution.
It is Lexus responsibility to deliver my car in the same condition you received it.
I was also not able to see my car and the condition it is in cosmetically. I have videos and images of my car from the first day I turned it in, do any damage will have to be covered by Lexus.
I would ask and expect someone from Lexus to call me and get this straighten up because this will be taken care of one way or the other.
Anthony is not professional in his conduct and I wish I hadn’t listen to him.
