My car had been in your possession for >21 days and if Scott from Mayfield Collision hadn't contacted me, I would not have known what was going on with my car. Eric was initially the representative dealing with my car on March 2, 2019. The ABS wire needed to be replaced/ repaired and he told me the part was on order and would be available 03/18/2019. When the part didn't arrive on that day, I was not notified of the delay until Scott (Mayfield Collision) sent one of his employees to KIA of Bedford physically to obtain an update. Communication from KIA was inappropriate for the length of time my car was being serviced and I had to utilize a rental vehicle. A phone call during those 3 weeks from KIA would have been helpful, decreased my stress level, and would have exhibited effective customer service. I don't feel the service department was cognizant of how a customer is feeling with the amount of time the insurance claim repairs required. This could have been avoided with several follow-up phone calls/ updates from KIA's service representatives. Darlene Y
