I was not satisfied at all with my experience at Open Roads. After waiting on parts for almost a year, I made an appointment to have repairs done to my 2021 camper. Dropped it off on the SCHEDULED day, and didn’t hear from anyone for a couple of weeks. I finally had to make a visit to check on progress and found out that some of the parts were wrong. Got the parts a week or so later and have to make another visit in order to have someone start work on my unit. Found out for the second time that the person(s) I dealt with prior no longer work there. Went to pick it up on day 40 and find out that the awning was not replaced as specified. Couldn’t wait so had to make another appointment to have the awning installed. Returned for awning install appointment and leave it for another 2 weeks to find out the awning is damaged so it will have to be reordered along with a hub cap that was damaged and should have been a part of the original materials list. Get the awning in a week or more later and finally get the call it’s done! Show up to pick it up and find out I have to pay for a part that was supposed to be on the original order(hub cap). Got charged $50 for labor to install it. My fault for not making a bigger fuss about it. Go to check my unit before taking it home and see that a screw is loose on the awning drum and a screw is missing from the battery disconnect switch ???? Angela Garmany helped me on the last appointment and I can say that she out of the many people I had to deal with was great. She called to update me and touch base from time to time. I dealt with up to 5 different service writers during my experience. Crazy management turnover. I can say the repairs to the outside of my unit were done well. Whomever completed that; cudos. 76 days at the dealer for a 4-5 day repair on two different APPOINTMENTS and I also find water damage to some trim. Can’t say for sure how it happened so I can’t put this on O.R., but I can say there was no damage prior to my visits. My camper is under cover when not used. Unfortunately, I will not be back to Open Roads nor would I recommend for repairs or service unless you like to wait and can finish repairs at home.

My 1st experience w/ Open Roads Acworth resulted in what should’ve been simply closing a tank valve and zeroing the auto leveling system, however it costed me well over $300. The unit was brand new 2022 Keystone with the auto leveling system malfunction and an open gray water valve left open from the factory. After several attempts at recovering the charges it was written up as service labor at $159/hr. I will in all fairness say that I did not purchase my unit at OR and that other warranty work was handled under warranty at no cost and done properly. It’s sad that something that took maybe 20 min to correct on first visit forces me to give a 2 star review, but as stated on 2 other separate visits there I attempted to recover the charges only on 10/24/22 to be told they would not be refunding the charges for the first visit. The current service mgr, James as well as the technicians did great work so this situation falls squarely on management. As a business owner myself a small amount of just doing the right thing and a small amount of positive customer service could’ve resulted in great word of mouth recommends with friends and family RV owners.

Maintenance and repairs were not completed prior to pickup. Will have to bring trailer in again so work can be completed. Knew this might happen in advance so not upset just disappointed. Would really appreciate it if you could find the source of the water leak in the shower. It has leaked since purchase. Workers did not clean up after their work inside my trailer. Would appreciate it if they would do so when we bring it back. Service personnel were nice and helpful. Thank you.
