At the time I dropped off my car for routine maintenance and a recall, I explained to the service advisor that I was planning on taking my van for a few road trips this summer and if I could get the van inspected to make sure nothing else needed extra attention, he mentioned he would have the van get a courtesy inspection and would let me know. When it was time to pick up my car I called to make sure it was ready, the advisor I spoke to said it was ready so I mentioned that I would be having my wife pick up our van and would prefer that if there was any issues that needed to be addressed that we go over them over the phone so she didn’t have to deal with it, he clearly said there were no issues for us to go over or discuss to simply pick up the van. My wife picked up the van and when I got home and reviewed the paperwork from the inspection, it had several items that the mechanic had flagged that required “immediate attention” such as head lights, in cabin filter, battery terminals, engine air filter, battery, rear tires with 3/32nds of tread. While I know some items may not be as urgent as others, tires and a battery would for sure be something that I feel should have been brought to my attention during our call as I had made it clear to him what my plans were for my van and the purpose of the inspection! I normally have taken my van to Hoehn Honda in Carlsbad or Allens Wrench (Honda specialist) in San Marcos as I feel their service has always been top notch but both were unable to fit me in their schedule at the time so I decided to give Norm Reeves Honda a try, after my first and recent visit I regret doing so and will not be going back. Luckily we live in an area where there are other quality Honda dealership and service alternative options.

I still can’t figure out why other peoples names show up on my car screen when I have my cell phone in my car and they are people I have never heard of. The phrase goodbye blank name, do not forget your cell phone comes up. It would be great to figure this out as I am not sure this is happening on anyone else’s car. Danielle greeted me very courteously and filled me in on what was done to my car. I appreciate the kindness and efficiency that the team provided.

Hello. First off, it is no fault of the employees. This is a direct complaint to the website. They set up an appointment with a lady that was apparently out of the office. I did not get helped until 30 minutes after the set up appointment time. Another thing is I asked for the cars hvac to be looked at, but the lady who helped me, lilia, told me that I said coolant instead of refrigerant, ending with them not checking my hvac. I don’t blame Lilia though I do hope next time there is a way I can write down what I want them to fix so we don’t have to play the blame game when I come in to pick up my car. Maybe a form will help. Thank you.
