I came into the service department with an odd issue- the brand new 2025 Honda Crv that I bought a month ago didn’t have caps to the attachments for the roof railings on the right side of the car. The sales department was very adamant about me paying for the replacements even though they couldn’t prove that the caps were installed at the time of the car sale, citing a 3 day grace period (which I would understand for cosmetic issues but not missing parts). The best sales said they could do was give me a 50% discount which amounted to $29 each roof cap. Overhearing the conversation and my frustration, John stepped in and advocated for me with the sales department, stating $29 is such a minuscule amount to not cover and make the customer happy. He was understanding of my situation and reassured me that it was highly unlikely that these roof caps flew off while driving. He made me feel validated in my concern and showed that he truly values customer service. John, you’re amazing! Thank you!
