Having to leave my car overnight created a lot of unforeseen difficulties. I was only offered a loaner after I got home and asked about the possibility. At that point I would have had to take a Lyft back and it didn’t seem worth it. I was told that the reason for the delay was that they didn’t have a needed part. Why doesn’t Honda service center have the Honda parts on hand. $1600 and a day after I brought my car in, it seems to be running fine.
