Philip I had little interaction with. I spoke with Cody Korenstra, your Service Manager and was unsatisfied with the answers he gave me regarding the paint and finish on my HR-V. We are experiencing water spotting on a brand new car and he said that is common with the black color, especially on the HRV model. He said waxing it is the solution. I said if it is known that a certain model of your cars has an issue with the paint job then Honda should address it. He said you as a dealership could do nothing about it and gave me Honda's 800 number to deal with them. So I'm currently left on my own to wrestle with corporate Honda with no dealership support. Then I looked into this when I got home and found that paint quality is one of three known historical issues with the HRV and no one in sales ever said anything to us about that either while making our decision to purchase our car. "Here are the three most common problems for the Honda HR-V: 1 Low-quality paint 2 Complications with the accelerator 3 Loose or dislodged window gaskets" So our feelings about your dealership and Honda are quite poor right now as you can imagine. We recently influenced my brother and his wife to check you out and they bought a used Pilot off your lot. My wife's sister and her husband just bought a truck from you as well. The check in process did not meet my expectations based on the other times I had been in for service. 5 people standing in line for Dwain when there were 3 other service clerks with no customers. Really? Unbelievable. $50 to replace an engine air filter is outrageous.
