I had a remote starter installed. When I picked up my car they just pulled it forward and said have a nice day. I was given no instruction as to how the remote start works nor was I given any documentation or pamphlet on it at all. When I asked my service advisor about it All he said was a third-party installs it so he doesn’t know anything about it. I went to the sales manager and was told the same thing. I asked him to have the company that installed it contact me for direction on how to use it. I had to call the sales manager back myself because he did not call me on Monday as he stated he would. When I called back he said somebody from the third-party installation company would be calling me tomorrow. In my opinion the sick the service people should have made sure that they had documentation from the third-party installer before the third-party installer left your premises. Additionally it’s also my opinion if you sell something at your dealership you should be able to tell your customer how it works. Because if the customer is dissatisfied the third-party vendor is not gonna lose a customer McGrath is going to lose a customer over it. As it stands right now I am waiting to see what happens tomorrow as far as that third-party calling me back
