The initial timeline provided to obtain the needed parts and repair my vehicle was 2 to 3 days. The repairs took two weeks, and the service consultant didn’t bring the service manager in to assist with the delay until I called to check in 10 days after I dropped off the vehicle. When explaining the delay, the service rep continuously repeated that the delay, “wasn’t his fault.” A better message would have been, “we are doing everything we can to get the parts.” As a customer, I don’t care who is at fault. I just want to know you are doing everything possible to do a good job. I did not get this sense at all. I got the sense that the consultant was just washing his hands of the delay and passing blame to the warehouse.
