Although the repairs needed turned out to be 10x expected Richard made extra efforts to help with expediting part shipment, made car rental easy and followed through keeping me updated on progress throughout the 4 day process. A big thank you to the service team.

It was suggested I upgrade to premium synthetic oil because it lasts 7500 miles. But the windshield reminder sticker is set to only 4,000 miles. Why? Most all of the Dealer repair recommendations listed as advised and declined by the customer were never discussed with me, the customer. That’s disappointing. I was told there was a mice nest in the HVAC system, and to use mint oil on Q-Tips and scented dryer sheets in engine compartment area to keep mice out. No mention of that mice nest on repair order, or about mice nest removal cost? The only other repair discussed was the transfer case reseal. What does reseal mean? I was there almost 2 hours and would have thought more repair recommendations would have been discussed with me from the list I was handed on departure. Thanks for listening to my concerns.

Honestly it’s my intention to call Kia and find out why service has been so poor. Is Kia lacking in their ability to supply stores with parts? Or is West Hills Kia just no longer offering quality service. I was so disappointed with my last three visits that I called to ask the General managers name so that I might write him personally. I planned on waiting until Monday or Tuesday to offer the service team at West Hills the opportunity to change my mind. I’ve spoken with a few other people who own Kia’s and we agree that we have been disappointed with service and the lack of communication and transparency. It was almost $100.00 for a light bulb and a oil change. For some that might be nothing, $322.00 for a battery. I choose to have my car serviced at Kia in Bremerton because I want knowledgeable technicians working on my car. Tacoma isn’t close, but I also don’t want to feel like I’m begging to have my car worked on. I brought my car in to be serviced because I noticed something was off. The reason they gave me sounded like a bad joke for how dealerships rip off honest hardworking people. I just don’t feel like we have been treated like valued customers. And we work hard for our money. I want it to go somewhere good. We almost bought a new Kia last year. Then we decided we didn’t care to work with the sales team at Kia. It just feels like the store has really gone down hill over the last few years, that’s unfortunate. We wish it wasn’t this way.
