I have waited 6 years to have the recall on my airbags fixed. The parts are finally available. I call to make an appointment and talk with an incredibly rude woman. I'm informed loaner vehicles aren't provided for this service. Great, is your shuttle going to take me home to Indianola, then be there at 630 in the morning to take me to work? Yeah, didn't think so. Not to mention the dozen or so letters I have from ford saying a loaner would he provided. She says someone will call me back. They don't. I call get an incredibly sweet girl, she handles it. Appointment made, loaner approved. I talk to someone 2 more times before my appointment, double check on the loaner. Good to go. I get to the service department yesterday afternoon. As I'm walking in, a woman is walking out. I say excuse me I'm not sure where to go now. She sighs, rolls her eyes, takes me to her desk. That's nice. I've been at work for 9 1/2 hours, drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of my home to drop off my car. I just want this done. Brenda asks for my number to access my account, I mentioned the loaner. She VERY rudely informs me loaners aren't provided for this service and it only takes a half hour. I then explain to her I have been approved for a loaner and explain everything I've done up until this point. She then says ma'am don't yell at me or be rude to me. Have I mentioned I've been at work since 7am and it's now 430? I don't have the energy to be rude. I certainly was not yelling. I told her I hadn't been that I had just been explaining to her I WAS approved for the loaner. She glares at me, goes back to her computer, then leaves to get approval for the loaner I've been told 3 times I was approved for. When she returns she's just as nice as could be. To little, to late. I had REALLY hoped when this dealership switched to west hills the customer service would improve. I see it hasn't. I'm in the market for a new ford edge, I won't be buying it here.
