Got there right at 6:55 am for check in. It took about 30 minutes to check in for a simple 20k service and oil change. I was told it would be done by around 8:30 am. Around the 8:30 mark I was told that my 2017 Tundra has multiple problems: 1. Corroded battery posts 2. Rear brake pads were thin 3. Air cabin filter needed to be changed 4. Horn was not working 5. Fog light was burned out I asked for visual confirmation before I was going to pay over $100 for stuff that I’d never noticed before in a truck with barely 20k miles on it. Ten minutes later I was told that tickets had gotten mixed up in the service area and that my truck had not been looked at yet. Around 9:30 I see my truck parked out in the delivery area and my keys are on the service guy’s desk but he’s in the back trying to handle another customer issue. I wait 5 minutes and then I grab my keys and ask another service consultant to check me out. To make matters worse my truck leaked a small amount of oil once I got home. I’m hoping it was just some excess that was on the outside of the oil filter. If not, I’ll be bringing the truck back in to have the work done correctly. This should have been a simple process but I spent over two and a half hours dealing with a process that appears to have several flaws in it. The intake process was a bottleneck, the mix up of tickets in the garage should have never happened, and the service consultant should have never communicated with me about vehicle issues and repair costs without first verifying that the vehicle he was discussing actually belonged to the client. I thought bringing my vehicle to longo instead of Toyota of McKinney would save me time but I was wrong.

Nothing against Dakota, it shows that you are well understaffed and not organized. It should never take over an hour to do an oil change and rotate the tires. I was there for 2.5 hours start to finish.

The flow of the service department was poor. No one to greet us as we parked under the service awning. No happy or smiling service advisors to greet us as we walked in. However the guy who showed us around was very nice. Once the vehicle was in the service center I noticed two techs working on the vehicle in a inefficient way. A simple tire rotation and inspection with two techs shouldn’t take 1 1/2 hours to complete. Having a big window to display the service given maybe a down fall if you are displaying inefficient service. I assure you customers will have frustration witnessing such a display. Once my vehicle was complete it was left in the pickup area for 20 minutes until I walked up to an advisor to see if it was ready for pickup. Who than stated that the tech hasn’t closed out the invoice. I know the dealership is new, but I expected a lot from a dealership in the Frisco/Prosper area, and you came up short.

Came in for 10,000 mile service on 2017 Tacoma and made it clear I would be waiting for my vehicle. After waiting 1.5 hours I went to look for my truck in the shop and was stopped by service tech. They explained they would find my truck and later reported that they thought I had dropped off and put my truck at the bottom of the list. Ultimately, I waited over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I think I watched someone buy a car faster than I had mine serviced.
